Favourite Quote

Hey guys,

Well for the final posts I wanted to leave you with my favourite quote from a great movie. It's called Bride Wars, yes I'm sure you've all heard of it and watched but it is a great movie and this quote sums up love and relationships in a nutshell!

Jealousy...

Love can bring people some of the happiest and most exciting moments of their lives... although, one of the biggest pains felt in a relationship is jealousy. It’s an emotion that almost all couples will feel at least once in a relationship. It may very well be a passing feeling, ranging from something as small as noticing your partner staring at a celebrity for just that slight bit longer than you would have wanted, or the stronger empty and painful feeling when your partner’s “ex” re-emerges from nowhere...

Now I won’t lie, I’m human and I’ve definitely felt the ‘little green monster’ sitting my shoulder (thankyou Taylor Lautner for that one)... But what I have learnt in my experience is that jealousy is truly a pointless emotion. Being jealous of someone else serves no purpose and only causes unneeded emotional distress and torment. Being jealous of another person, either for their physical appearance, personal belongings etc often causes insecurity within oneself.

If you are in a relationship, and you are starting to feel the green monster on your shoulder, think to yourself, my partner is with me because they want to be! If they didn’t want to be with you, they wouldn’t! So don’t worry if your girlfriend stares at Taylor Lautner for a little too long, at the end of the day, you got the girl of your dreams, he doesn’t. Take that Lautner...

Breaking Up

So we've been pretty much raving about Love, Sex and Relationships, but to be really true with our readers this blog should also include a post about Break ups.

Breaking up is something people face in a relationship, it is something someone must live with as soon as reality hits and either one partner or both sides realizes that they are not meant to be together and it will no longer work for them to have a relationship.

Breaking up is often a hard thing because before the both side knows it, they are soul tied, this could be for the reason that they were too madly and deeply in love with each other, or the bond thy had e when they had sex was amazing, certain situations and memories can cause breaking up to be hard at times. but the ultimate truth is they just have to live with it and get over what they had and look forward to a new day.

Every time this is the topic, the only thing that i get reminded of is the song by TOTO, "Il be over you" this is an old school rock song, this song just shows how soul tied he is with the person he broke up with and how he cannot get over  the person. The song goes some thing like;

Is It LOVE or LUST?

Are you in Love or are you in Lust?
Not Sure??
Yeah well not most people are so don't worry, your not alone!
Lets see what dictionary.com defines Love and Lust as:

Love:

1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.

2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.

3. sexual passion or desire.

Lust:

1. intense sexual desire or appetite.

2. uncontrolled or illicit sexual desire or appetite; lecherousness.

3. a passionate or overmastering desire or craving (usually fol. by for ): a lust for power.

This is one of the biggest dilemmas faced by many lovers of all ages, where they are caught in limbo " so to speak" when the question comes to mind...if the strong physical attractions are in fact lust or in other cases love. Sometimes the lines can be blurred....

Often lust is described as imagining and thinking about having sex and sometimes women and even men see that and mistake it for love which in the end only results in sadness, especially when it doesn't last.

But don't be fooled because you will see love when it is pure and true. When someone Loves you, and I mean truly, unconditionally loves you then they will do anything and everything to show you how they feel, with or without sex!
